I've told this story before, but for me, Ron Paul first really got my attention one morning when I randomly caught him on CNBC, back on February 27, 2002. I even have the blog post to prove it! (I've been blogging before blogging was cool). Of course back then I had much less of the understanding that I have now. I only knew that Ron Paul was against the Federal Reserve, and that was all I needed to know. Now I understand that the overarching principle of Dr. Paul's message is freedom.
