I heard the rumor last night -- that the British had returned to Boston and had an encampment on the Common. After a fitful night of sleep, I went this morning to investigate with mine own eyes. Upon my arrival, all seemed well, but just as I crested the hill coming up from Frog Pond, I saw them indeed. The British! Right here on American soil! Picture. They were back indeed!
